Hokkaido Inu

The Hokkaido Inu, also known as the Ainu dog, is considered to be one of the oldest and purest of the medium-sized Japanese dog breeds. While it’s origins are sketchy, it’s history is strongly tied to the Ainu people who settled in Hokkaido nearly a millennium ago. Hokkaido often have black spots on their tongues and mouths, suggested a relation to the Chinese Chow Chow and Shar Pei.

Would like some more information on this particular breed and are there any breeders in Ausstralia and if not where the closest breeder would be and contact details if possible
